Our Story

Hyflex Assemblies was established in 1986 and became a member of the Green Line Group in 1990. Now called Green Line Manufacturing, we are an industry specialist focused on providing industrial and hydraulic hose products to Original Equipment Manufacturers in a variety of industries. Green Line Manufacturing maintains multiple certifications to ensure rigid industry standards are met.

Before assembly, we audit all new orders to ensure that the correct products are used and that our customer's engineered drawings match our bill of materials. Our Production Part Approval Process ensures the first assembly off the line is correct for the application and all subsequent assemblies are built consistently to those exact standards.

Once an order has gone through our verification process, it is added to our production schedule. Through continuous improvement and development, we have been able to refine our line scheduling down to the minute. Our live schedule is easily accessible both on-site and remotely by any team member and is consistently being reviewed, updated, and adjusted to accommodate customer requirements.

Before assembly, all bulk hose is cleaned by shooting an Ultra Clean® projectile through the hose removing any blockages, contaminants, or residues that may have been present. Daily gravimetrical analysis testing on completed hose assemblies ensures our high cleanliness standards are met and maintained.

Hoses are cut using our fully automated saw which downloads measurements directly from our system eliminating the chance for key stroke error. Traceability numbers and customer part numbers are then ink-jetted onto the hose. A "first-off measurement" is taken to ensure accuracy each time a new part is built.

Depending on the type of hose and fitting, some assemblies require skiving (cover removal). Skive length is measured to the manufacturer's specification and inspected to ensure the skive line is not visible after crimping. Non-skive assemblies incorporate a depth insertion mark to ensure proper installation and are inspected to ensure no line is visible after crimping.

Hose ferrules are crimped down to the product manufacturer's specification. Every single crimp measurement is taken with our digital calipers to ensure that the outside diameter of the ferrule matches this specification with a tolerance of +/- 0.1 mm. This crimp measurement must be registered within our system before an operator can proceed with the next assembly.

Once completed, every assembly is inspected to ensure the ferrule locking collar has been correctly engaged onto the fitting and the skive line or depth insertion line is not visible on the final crimped product. Heat seal caps or protective plugs are installed on every fitting to protect fitting threads and ensure a contaminant free product is received by the customer.

Currently, Green Line Manufacturing offers several different solutions for our customers in terms of packaging and delivery. These include custom kitting and packaging, brick kits, line sequencing, Kanban, JIT and min/max weekly deliveries. Additionally, we work in partnership with our customers to develop solutions for their specific needs.

Services

Our services include Kanban, just-in-time, and line sequencing. Finished goods can be supplied in bulk, in kits, or in sub-assembly units. In addition to assemblies and adapters for Original Equipment Manufacturers, Green Line Manufacturing supplies custom hose products for oilfield and industrial equipment suppliers. We are 100% customizable and will work with you to ensure your needs are met.

Traceability

We incorporate 100% traceability on each and every hose we assemble. A serial number, along with your part number, is ink jetted onto the hose and repeats every foot. Our live schedule breaks orders out into small batch runs. Should a quality issue occur, we can contain the issue down to a small number of assemblies. By working with you and applying serial numbers to your orders, we will be able to inform you which part number to inspect and which assemblies to look for, reducing the scope of any issues that may arise.
